disillusioned

there is this really cool looking building that is right next door to the one i live in (not as cool as the picture above but close enough) anyways...i always talk about how much i would love to live there, etc etc, but of course it's out of our price range, i mean it has to be right?  well on sunday they were having an open house so brian came along with me to check it out, i was way more excite than him.  and i have to say i was super disappointed.  the inside of the apartment left a lot to be desired.  it was obvious whoever lived there before had done nothing to it in the 20 years that they owned it.  the kitchen was so small you couldn't even open one cabinet without hitting the one across from it.  and the bathrooms...don't even get me started....how as a building planner do you decide to have the patio off the toilet?  i mean i could have litterally taken a crap and grilled a burger at the same time...NOT coool....

but i am glad i went, now i know that my apartment is far superior and no longer have building envy...but there is another one right across the street.....;)
