Addicted to Television

I am totally addicted to television, yes I must admit it is true. Not only do I have tivo, but now with the amazing technology of the internet, of which Al Gore invented, ;) I can watch hours to television at work or while I'm sitting in my bed....because sometimes the thought of getting out of bed is a tad daunting, but that is for another post. So, I watch this television and it becomes part of my life. Suddenly my conversations are filled with, I wish Meredith would stop taking McDreamy for granted, and if Christina ruins her relationship with Burke I'm going to be so pissed, and Jim and Pam are totally annoying me, I just wish they would get together, and I wonder what Jim will do to make Dwight freak out. It's almost as if these people's lives have taken over my own. No longer do I ask web md for medical advice, I simply turn on Grey's, if I need a good cry I switch to America's Next Top Model, that's always good for a crying, crazy or two. But the scary part is, even though I have tivo, and my boyfriend will attest, I schedule my life around when certain shows are on. If it is an American Idol night, you better believe I am going to be watching however many hours Fox puts in front of me, and of course I curse the television when I have reached the live television mode because that means I have to watch commercials, and this is also an issue since my boyfriend is a commercial editor and well, commercials pay for all our extravagant trips to Papa Johns :) Ok, I have to go because I have to vote for American Idol, Lord knows that I am not letting my top picks get voted off!!!
