Medieval Times Baby

So, this weekend i went to medieval times for my roommate's birthstravganza celebration, and yes my roommate turned 24! ha ha! I went to medieval times when i was 8, and let me tell you it was awesome, i cheered so loud for my knight that my little banner was frayed at the ends. In my mind my knight kept trying to throw me a rose, but he never did quite get one to me, i don't know if it was the tie dyed jumper that i was wearing or the shotty dorothy hamill haircut that made me feel most pretty that day, but i did feel like a princess...anyways...back to last weekend. So, medieval times wasn't quite what i remembered, it was how do i put this...cheesey, yes very cheesey and not as entertaining as when i was eight, and i kept thinking...these people work here, like someone had to audition to be one of these workers! And i thought that my job was lame and unfulfilling! Anyways, so the really cool thing about going now is that i could drink! And drink i did :) The show is definitely more fun while drinking and the idea of eating with my hands didn't gross me out as much...overall it was a fantastic way to spend a saturday night and quite frankly i think everyone needs to experience the medieval at least once in their lives, the smell of stinky feet, the over priced drinks in knight's heads, the outrageous gift shop...yes, the only thing better than that is knowing that one couple was there on their honeymoon...

Medieval Times was so awesomely stupid. Can't wait to go back to the pirate dinner theater!

EVENTUALLY EVERYTHING IN LIFE BECOMES A FUNNY STORY
