Vacation

So, I went on vacation and now i'm back. Woot woot. And not only was it vacation, but it was family vacation, yes that's right i'm proud to say that at 24 years old i am still going on family vacation....and when i mean family i mean FAMILY, there were 14 of us all on vacation together. And we're italians, which means we're loud, obnoxious, and i can't get a word in edge wise. But i must say that vacation was awesome, i was on the beach almost every day relaxing and taking naps, which was fantastic. Probably the biggest ego boost i had was when my little cousin who is six years old told her mom that she was so glad that maria came on vacation cause she has style. Her mom said oh mia you have style too. And mia was like no i don't have style like maria, she knows fashion. which i thought was absolutely adorable and hilarious all at the same time because i do not think i have style at all, unless you consider wearing sweatty pants and a hat to work style, then yes i am the queen of style!

The other boost i got while being on vacation is realizing that not everyone in the world is a size zero. It was great. I mean sometimes the bubble that is LA makes me feel like a porker, and then when i step outside, it is almost a relief to see overweight people, which i realize is not very nice, but it makes everything a little more realistic.
