On monday i get into work and my co-worker asks me how my weekend was and i responded with an exuberant AWESOME, she was taken aback and was like whoa what did you do?! nothing...and it was AWESOME! i took a nap...i read a book...i sauntered in the grocery store, i mean it was the best!
and that's when i realized that i am a grown up...grown ups get excited about naps, about reading, about getting a coupon in the mail...about getting up early so i can beat the traffic...WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?!! I went from 0 to grandma in .2 seconds...
although i have to say that life as a grandma isn't too bad, you sleep whenever, you lose weight cause you forget to eat, and if you tell it like it is people just think you're senile, it's not offensive...
