LORD OF THE RINGS

Ok, first...one of my fav movies EVER! Also, I had the opportunity to watch LOTR The two towers this weekend, and let me just say, i think it gets better and better, especially the Battle of Helms Deep, ah...I remember in college, my roommate missy and i would come home after crappy classes, 15 feet of snow, fricking freezing weather, stupid boys, and would pop in the two towers and fast forward to the battle of helms deep. It always reminds me that even though life seems impossible there is always hope. Like take for example when the keep has been overtaken and the only thing to do is simply ride out in glory, it reminds me of the time when i realized i couldn't fit into my jeans anymore and the only thing to do was put on my sweaty pants and ride out in glory. Or like when the battle has almost begun and a huge group of elves come to the rescue to help fight, it reminds me of the time i forgot i had an exam, only to find out it was open note! See, there are so many parallels to my life and the two towers it's almost as if i live in middle earth...and sometimes i truly did wish i lived there, i mean i'm already half way there, i don't shower everyday, i'm sure they didn't, everyday is a battle for survival, and by that i mean a battle just to face the day...and i already know the ins and outs of how to navigate between gondor and the shire....ok yes why do i have a boyfriend again?
