The English Patient

Sunday night is a big night for Brian and I....yes that's right, we wait a whole week so that we can watch our netflix!!! This week's movie was the English Patient, now neither one of us had seen it which was of course very exciting for us because we are one of those disgustingly in love couples who get excited when we get to do things for the first time together, such as eat at Chipotle, or go to Iowa. Anyways, so we get the DVD in the player and the opening credits start to roll, and then all of a sudden it jumps to a nurse kissing a soldier, so brian stops the dvd...gets it out...cleans it...and puts it back in. The opening credits roll, and of course it jumps to a nurse kissing a solider. Well, we figured it couldn't have skipped that far right? So we continue to watch...but then it skips again, and at this point brian is getting real frustrated. So, I tell him that netflix now has this watch instantly feature...so i get out my computer, boot it up, which takes forever, get on the netflix site, yada yada yada...of course it doesn't have the english patient on watch instantly and brian had already packaged up the dvd to go back....ahahahah!!! i guess it just wasn't meant to be...or at least until netflix sends us a replacement :)
