BANK!

I am moving....again....of course because my life can never just be in one place for longer than like a year...so my roommate and i found this super cute place, and the landlords loved us...and how could they not??? So, they call we get the place, only problem is they need like 3000 for deposit and first months rent...only problem is i'm poor, so i told them we would need a little time to get the money and they're all like well, ya know, other people want the place, so i was like fine we'll figure it out. So, brian offers to help us out till we get paid on friday. So he transfers the money, only wells fargo has a limit to what you can transfer in a day, so he has to make two transfers. On the second day of the transfer i go to get the cashier's check, and of course the lady is like oh i'm sorry this money isn't available yet...this is where i started to sweat....so i was like oh but i really need this money if i don't get it then we will lose our apartment...so she calls over a supervisor...and she tells me the same thing and then they both notice that i don't have enough in my savings to cover...thanks for reminding me i'm poor! In the process of everything i start to think of collateral i have, i figured, ok if i leave one of my rings as collateral maybe they'll give me the check, or what if i do a deal with them...as it turns out they allowed me to get the cashier's check...thankfully! but, i wonder if my bargain would have worked??? i'll have to try it next time.
