Bring it on.....

A couple weeks ago brian and i went to his niece's cheerleading competition. I have never been to a competition and in fact my mother wouldn't let me go out for cheerleading...and now i know why. There were girls as young as three shaking their asses to hits like "i'm too sexy" and "don'tcha" Which may be fine in a club, but is it really necessary to have a three year old running around in a hardly there sports bra and underwear, piled high with make up dancing around to these songs? And the scary part was when there was a group who had a lot of parents in the audience, they were so into it i wondered if they realized that they weren't on stage. One parent in particular made brian and i die laughing. He was sitting pretty close to the front of the stage and when his daughter's squad came out he stood up, and did their whole routine while watching. Then, when they finished he got into the aisle and did two huge lunge/fist pumps so show his approval.

The cheer moms were even worse. All of them dressed up like they were thirteen, yelling at security officers, demanding to be let in, even though they left their ticket by their seat. (Which is ridiculous because people...this is HOLLYWOOD...there are freaks running around...they don't just make up these rules to piss you off!!!!)

In any event...if i EVER have children they are not allowed to be cheerleaders :)
