Mongolian BBQ

When I went home for Christmas this year my parents introduced me to mongolian bbq. The place was huhot...which took me forever to remember hohot, hotho...yeah..huhot...or is it huthot? not sure, anyways..ever since then I have been craving mongolian bbq, and of course there are none in LA, well at least there aren't any of the chains. And it is not surprising, as my roommate joy reminded me, most people wouldn't trust a buffet in LA, it's kinda dirty. But I still was craving it, so brian, my totally awesome boyfriend, found this place to try. When we got there it was this tiny little restaurant and there was one woman working. When we got to the buffet line to fill our bowls, the meat was stored in coolers that were lining the walls....needless to say somehow someway, the midwest has triumphed in the mongolian bbq, and if i ever need a fix 3 flames will have to do, it may be dirty but it was oh so good ;)
